Paul Hawkins was a keen sportsman who embarked on a banking career in Brazil, New York and Portugal. Since studying History of Sport at Buckingham University, he has written "Football’s First 100 Years 1866-1966", "Completely New History of the World Cup 1930-2022" and following the recent amazing World Cup, "Argentina Triumph in Qatar". 

His recent book the "Completely New History of the World Cup" recalls the magic of Pelé, England's "Finest Hour" in 1966, Maradona's "Hand of God" goal in 1986, the drama of penalty shoot-outs and finally, the incredible 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where Argentina reigned supreme and we witnessed the superb skills of the world's greatest players, Messi and Mbappe. 

"Argentina Triumph in Qatar" is a unique compendium of reports, teams, goal-scorers and analyses of all 64 matches of the incredible 2022 World Cup in Qatar and is one of the first books to be published on this recent World Cup.
